Phenomenal Third Win

Our dream team, the Lyndhurst KS2 Football team, has won its third match in a row, this time against the formidable St Joseph's Primary School.

When the final whistle blew, on a mud-sodden pitch at Rosendale Playing Fields on Saturday, 14th November, the squad had amassed an amazing 3:0 victory.

Wilkie kicked in the first goal, while the second was an unfortunate own goal for St Joseph's, and finally Matthew booted in a cracking goal to complete the trio.

The rain teemed down but it did nothing to dampen our team's spirit, despite St Joseph's challenges. Goal Keeper Molly had her work cut out and was heralded 'Player of the Match' for saving some superb attempts by the opposition.

This was a 'Cup Match', so it was a pretty exciting event - for all!

We will also let you know when the match that was due to take place on Saturday, 7th November at Dulwich Sports Ground, will be rescheduled. Hopefully the pitch will have dried out.
