KS2 Football Match is a big Draw

The weekend started in a nail-biting fashion thanks to Saturday's football match against Crown Lane Primary School.

They were worthy opponents, for our Key Stage 2 Football Team and this was the first game of the season which didn't end in a mud bath!

By the time the final whistle blew the game, which took place at Rosendale Playing Fields, saw a massive total of 10 goals being scored.

The 5:5 result included four sensational goals from Lyndhurst, scored by deft strikers Wilkie and Anthony. Both sides added to the drama by scoring an own goal, thus taking the tension up to a different league!

Louis was named Player of the Match for his committed and inspirational defending.

Although this wasn't an outright win each of the teams went home knowing they'd played famously and given their supporters more thrills than could be expected on a sunny May Saturday.
