Book Week, Book Swap, Story Share

Dear Parents/Carers,

As the theme of World Book Day is ‘share a story’, we will be holding a whole school book swap. The idea is that everyone goes home with a new (second hand) book at the end of Book Week. Please help your child to choose a book that they have read, and enjoyed, that they can bring in to swap.

They will swap this book for another book to take home and keep! It would also be helpful if you find an extra book that could be donated, to give to another child to swap on the day, as some children may not have many books at home that can be swapped. Please do not send your child in with more than two books, and please make sure they are not damaged and that they are appropriate for your child’s age group.

We want the books to be desirable to other children and we do not have space to store any left-over books at the end of the week.

Thank you for being part of our book swap! We are looking forward to every child coming home with a book they are excited to read with you. Please find me in the playground if you have any questions.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Harwood.

World Book Day is on Thursday, 1st March 2018. We can't wait to see the children coming to school dressed as their favourite book character!
