Pulling out the stops for Valentine's day

Lyndhurst's very own music maestro, Mr Valentine, is keeping his hands healthy as he prepares to set a World Record - for non-stop organ playing!

This news comes hot off the press following the announcement at Monday's magical Winter Concert, which took place at St Giles Church, in Camberwell on December 14th, where Mr Valentine was tinkling the ivories to accompany the beautiful sounds created by our whole school community.

Mr Valentine's record attempt will take place in mid-April. The exact date is yet to be set but don't worry, we'll let you know. And there'll be plenty of time for all of us to head down to St Giles Church to support him - he'll be playing the organ for at least 60-HOURS to break the Guiness World Record!

We can't revel in the spirit of the season without thanking Mr Chambers, his marvellous music department, the Children and the Teachers' Choir for giving us yet another joyful experience at the Winter Concert. It really is the season to be merry!
